Job Description

As a Junior Financial Information Systems Consultant, you will support our clients in the management of their financial performance and their transformation during the implementation and evolution of information systems (EPM type IT solutions).

You will be supervised and trained by experienced consultants and will join the Digital Transformation team of the Finance functions. Depending on the project and the assignment, you may participate in the various phases of project management and implementation of a decision-making application applied to finance (EPM).

You will be able to translate financial business issues into technological solutions – or vice versa.

Responsabilities

  • Gather the client’s needs, particularly in the context of workshops that you lead
  • Study the feasibility and determine the solution best suited to the needs
  • Write the functional and technical specifications
  • Participate in the design, implementation (technical settings, tests) and production of the IS (EPM-type IT tool)
  • Suggest developments or corrections to components as part of an improvement process
  • Train users (support and animation)
  • Support the financial transformation

Profile requirements

  • A degree in engineering, specialising in IS, IS project management or at least a strong interest in information systems and IS technology (data science, machine learning, etc.)
  • Able to intervene quickly on financial issues. Familiar with budgeting, planning and profitability tools (P&L, WCR, etc.)
  • Passionate about transformation issues and able to make quality, effective and high value-added recommendations
  • A strong sense of initiative and are reactive and autonomous
  • A sense of service and good interpersonal skills to support our clients.

 

Plus points:
  • A real appetite for technical matters, with the ability to understand and configure the information system
  • Skills in writing specifications, agility to move from functional to technical
