History of the company

Romain Dubuisson created BAKIA in 2013, with the primary motivation of accompanying the financial transformation process and with the strong desire to put people at the heart of the methodology.

In 2020 he left Paris to expand BAKIA’s activity into Asia. Matthias Huot joined him to take over the General Management of BAKIA France.

  • 2013: Creation of BAKIA in Paris by Romain Dubuisson and signing of first Digital Transformation clients.
  • 2015: First mission in the Transformation of the Processes and Financial Management Models. The team expands with the arrival of the first employee.
  • 2016-2018: Progressive growth of the activity and the team.
  • 2019: Very strong growth in turnover. By the end of 2019, the team consists of 12 people.
  • 2020: BAKIA consolidates its position in the transformation of the entire Finance function. Matthias Huot takes over the management of BAKIA France and Romain Dubuisson leaves to develop the business in Asia.
  • 2021: Creation of BAKIA Asia Limited in Hong Kong.
    In France, a large-scale transversal mission begins, that will last two years and cover the 4 pillars of the company offer.
  • 2022: Strong acceleration of the development of BAKIA Asia. 15 employees and business expert partners, including 4 in Asia.

« bakia » is a Basque word that means peace and quiet.
