Optimization and simplification of CCH Tagetik reports

Requirement

Taking advantage of a change of its accounting system, the client wanted to upgrade its Tagetik budget preparation and financial reporting application, to make it easier to use and maintain. The client was looking for a consultancy which is proactive and has the capacity to implement the chosen solutions.

Our Approach

Bakia worked with two advanced users for this mission, by pinpointing the areas of dissatisfaction with the current application (very deep hierarchies, too many clicks, heavy report maintenance etc.) and suggested technical solutions to improve the user experience but also automate report maintenance. We also measured and specified the impacts of change in the accounting system. Following which, Bakia was entirely in charge of the configuration and assisted the customer in correcting the anomalies. The first feedback from users is very positive.
